Light & Wonder enters South Africa market with Hollywoodbets partnership

Light & Wonder has expanded into South Africa's regulated iGaming market by collaborating with operator Hollywoodbets. This venture is Light & Wonder's debut in the region， introducing its proprietary content to South African players.

Alongside Light & Wonder's in-house content， players at Hollywoodbets can soon access titles from third-party studios， including ReelPlay， Big Time Gaming， Blueprint， Greentube， Gaming Realms， Inspired， Elk Studios， Relax，Play Casino Online G Games and Fantasma.

James Bustin， Commercial Director at Light & Wonder， said: “Entering South Africa’s online regulated market is an exciting move for Light & Wonder， allowing us to deliver on our promise of bringing new worlds of play to consumers worldwide.

This expansion follows Light & Wonder's recent full acquisition of SciPlay， a move aimed at strengthening its cross-platform strategy and consolidating its position within the gaming industry.

Light & Wonder's Q3 financial results also showcased growth， with net income surging to $80m， marking a 300% year-on-year increase.
